Coping with cancer and the holidays

The holidays can be a festive and joyful time. But for those going through cancer treatments, it can be stressful and full of anxiety. Treatments, like chemotherapy and radiation, can be time consuming and exhausting. For many patients and their families the thought of preparing for the season may be more than they can handle.

Survivor Story: Natalie White

My name is Natalie White and I am 38 yrs old. I grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Texas where I graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. I went to Southwest Texas State University where I received a B.A. in English with a minor in Political Science. I attended and graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. I moved to Houston, Texas after law school where I still live today.

Kristin Tabor selected for top volunteer award

This year’s top Volunteer Service Award from Wells Fargo will result in a $50,000 grant to the Colon Cancer Coalition, a local nonprofit organization which raises awareness and promotes the need for early screening tests for the disease. Wells Fargo will make the contribution on behalf of team member Kristin Tabor, who founded the coalition to honor the memory of her sister.
