Tune in to FOX television on Thanksgiving day

FOX television will premier a new tradition this Thanksgiving with the presentation of Kaleidoscope, a star studded show featuring skating, music and entertainment to “recognize women and the key role they play in the battle against cancer – as patients, caregivers, and advocates.” Skaters Dorothy Hamill, Scott Hamilton, Kristi Yamaguchi and Nancy Kerrigan will be featured as well as singers Olivia Newton-John, Katherine McPhee and David Archuleta.

The mission of Kaleidoscope is to address issues surrounding women and cancer by helping educate women to be proactive with their health and by honoring all cancer survivors, including the more than 713,000 women who are diagnosed with cancer each year in the United States. This effort is being supported by an unprecedented collaboration with 10 nationwide advocacy partners.

Among the groups supporting the presentation of Kaleidoscope is the Colorectal Cancer Coalition, a national support and advocacy group based near Washington D.C. The Colorectal Cancer Coalition works to improve access to colorectal cancer screening procedures and education through programs such as Kaleidoscope and through the organization of their annual Call on Congress, where cancer advocates meet with legislators to discuss the importance of equal access to colorectal cancer screening.

Tune into the broadcast of Kaleidoscope on FOX television, Thanksgiving day, November 26th from 4-5:30(EST). For more information about the Colorectal Cancer Coalition or the Call on Congress, visit fightcolorectalcancer.org
