Get Your Rear In Gear 5K events promote colon cancer awareness
Get Your Rear in Gear race organizer and rectal cancer survivor John Kieslich talked recently with Indianapolis radio personality Amber Stearn on WIBC radio, Indy’s News Center. Kieslich described the process of his diagnosis and how he came to be involved with Get Your Rear in Gear events. According to Kieslich, after his diagnosis he saw national news coverage of the Alexandria Get Your Rear in Gear 5K on Fox News and was inspired to begin his own event in Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run will be held on June 19th, 2010 at Northview Christian Life Church. Registration is available online at getyourrearingear.com. Race day registration will open at 7 am.
